This is one of my early projects using a Lensball, basically a crystal ball through which you can take some great photographs, or like in this example, create some truly captivating effects.
This project was a bit of a spur of the moment on a rainy afternoon when my daughter had finished with her art work subject. So, not being one to miss an opportunity, I whipped out my camera and started working on capturing an interesting image.
What to do on a cold and wet lockdown afternoon...
Pick up your camera and start creating images that bring the natural world to life through your photography like these images taken indoor with some basic equipment and a little sparkle.
During the summer of 2020 I was fortunate enough to get away for a summer holiday, the lockdown restrictions had eased so a group of friends joined me and my family for a summer holiday in Yorkshire, in the grounds of an old abbey.
This was a great opportunity to test my capabilities and to capture this amazing piece of history, and to create some lasting memories. The setting was perfect and I was also very lucky to be graced with a wonderful sunset to really enhance the mood of the setting.
